As a Recruiting Assistant, you will support the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple service lines and positions, helping to identify and attract quality candidates.
This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Ancaster, Ontario.
Hours are 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
5 days a week (flexible)
$19.00 - $20.50/hour
Job Duties
- Create and manage job requisitions within the HRIS System (SAP Success Factors)
- Post job openings to various external resources, including employment centres and school job boards
- Source external candidates from job boards and route them to the Davey Tree website / SuccessFactors
- Conduct pre-screening activities, including resume reviews and phone interviews, across all service lines
- Monitor the candidate pipeline and collaborate with Hiring Managers across all service lines
- Develop a strong understanding of Davey service lines and promote the organization as an employer of choice
- Provide support and guidance to candidates throughout the application process
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication (telephone and email correspondence) skills
- Ability to perform in a multi-tasking environment
- Highly detail oriented
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word and Excel
