Position Overview

Do you have a passion for gardening and plants? Do you love working with people? Are you a self starter? We have the position for you! We are currently hiring a part-time seasonal Loader/General Labourer for our busy garden centre.
 

The perfect team member is energetic and friendly, customer service minded, and is able to lift 50+lbs. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working outdoors for extended periods of time. In this position, you may be asked to work during special events and statutory and public holidays.
 

Applicants must be available weekdays and weekends, roughly 20 to 40 hours per week, however the schedule will be determined based on applicant's availability. Students are welcome to apply.

Job Duties

  • Assist customers with carry-outs
  • Load heavy product into customer's vehicle
  • Water live product
  • Assist with customer inquiries
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Willingness to learn
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
