Position Overview

Pay Range: $25-35/hr (based on experience)

As a Climbing Arborist, you’ll trim and remove trees, tackle diseased or hazardous limbs, and help keep our urban forest thriving—all while working outdoors with a tight-knit team. Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Climb trees daily—your office is the canopy, and the views are unbeatable.
• Work as part of a skilled crew, picking up new tricks of the trade as you go.
• Master tree pruning, thinning, and removals while following industry best practices.
• Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and more (we’ll get you up to speed).
• Grow as high as your ambition takes you—your potential sets the limit!

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for the outdoors—this is where you’ll thrive.
• Bonus points if you’ve got experience in arboriculture, rope and saddle or working at heights.
• Willingness to complete our Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program and First Aid/CPR training (we’ve got you covered).
• Preferred: Certified Arborist, Certified Tree Climber, CTSP, TRAQ.
• Preferred: CDL Class A
