Position Overview
POSITION: Geospatial Technician/Analyst
TYPE: Full-Time
POSITION LOCATIONS: Flexible within CA (San Luis Obispo to Oregon Border)/Partially Remote
WAGE: $35-40.

The Davey Resource Group (DRG) is currently hiring certified arborists, professional foresters, horticulturalists, natural resource specialists, environmental scientists, GIS technicians, and plant and outdoor enthusiasts to join our workforce.
Job Duties
-
Work with a major electric/gas utility provider and address its natural resource management and mapping needs, including daily coordination with client representatives

Support and manage current users of the utility's GIS system.

Basic data entry and validation to advanced map creation and data modeling
-
Monitor & communicate with internal stakeholders on project progress and reporting

Remotely assess utility assets, terrain, habitat, and environmental conditions
-
Help identify, document, track, and resolve environmental and other project-specific constraints
Qualifications
