Position Overview

The Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for assisting their individual customer base through each phase of the Fundraising Program, ensuring all aspects of communication with Wreath Customers are handled in a professional manner and maximizing fundraising sales.  The Fundraising Coordinator works under close supervision.

Job Duties

  • Managing the customer base, contacting previous customers and assisting new and potential customers.
  • Sign-up, assist, lead customers through each phase of the Fundraising Program. 
  • Communicate, create, and deliver proposal production, negotiation, and contract initiation.
  • Assist customers with fundraising sales strategies.
  • Act as the first point of contact and evaluate the needs of the customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Field current and prospective customer calls.
  • Maintain and submit Daily Task List Sheet.
  • Maintain various databases and the Fundraising Data Spreadsheets.
  • Assist in creating and sending Lead Packets, Fundraising Kits, and Samples.
  • Alert supervisor of any issues regarding product or inventory needs.
  • Adjust sales orders, create credit requests, and maintain files.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules. 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of fundraising programs.
  • Use a computer application to type text, insert pictures, format, edit, print, save, and retrieve word processing documents.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Expert time-management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Customer Service: Respond appropriately to requests for service and assistance. Actively searches for ways to assist others. Communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone and live chats. Meet job duty requirements. 
  • Oral and Written Communication: Communicate clearly and accurately in positive and negative situations. Receive information from a variety of sources and correctly interpret information to achieve desired results. Effective presentation skills in a group setting. Respond appropriately to questions. Participate constructively in meetings. Write clearly and accurately. Communicate effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Accurately read and interpret written information. Manage emails with timely response. 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of customer contact experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Preferred: Fundraising program experience
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with high accuracy
