Summary: Applies paint, varnishes, stain and enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures by performing the following duties.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do: 

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Includes some or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Read work order and receive instructions from supervisor
• Sandblast equipment as needed
• Prep and paint equipment as needed
• Learn how to install Vortex Spray Liner
• Install Decals on Trucks and Equipment
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• React appropriately in an emergency situation
• Perform all duties as required
• Report timely and accurately to supervisor

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described are representative of those employees encounter while performing the essential functions of this Job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to:

• Moving mechanical parts
• Fumes and airborne particles
• Noise level and environmental changes in the work environment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

• An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver’s license required
• Exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally up to 20lbs of force constantly to move objects.
• Stand and walk at and around the work site
• Reach (i.e. extending arms, hands and fingers) and handle (holding and grasping tools, etc.) and twist
• Balance (when using equipment) pull and push
• See and judge the distance of objects
• Perform the desired tasks in the presence of distractions or work frustrations
• Obtain and select pertinent information through investigative, observation and questioning, including organizing and combining different pieces of information into meaningful order to identify problems
• Regular and timely attendance
