Position Overview
The qualified candidate will assist with Davey’s Corporate Human Resources Employee Records with scanning and records retention. They will assist/relieve the Corporate Front Desk Receptionist and Switchboard; and will assist the Administrative Services team with mailings and records requests. The individual must enjoy working independently, within a team environment; be able to meet daily goals; and be detail oriented. Attendance, punctuality, confidentiality and excellent organizational skills are a must. Candidate will be working at the Corporate Office location in Kent, Ohio.
Job Duties
- Employee records scanning preparation
- Scanning and importing documents to employee records
- Complete verification process to ensure accuracy of document scanning
- Assist in employee records retrieval as needed
- Provide backup support to our corporate front desk receptionist and switchboard operation
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
- Exercise good judgement and have the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Knowledge of Federal employee record retention requirements
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

- High school diploma, associates degree or some college

Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling matters of a highly confidential nature; shown high degree of initiative and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups; ability to work independently with limited supervision; ability to plan, implement and manage short- and long-term projects
