Position Overview
The IT Business Analyst Manager oversees the IT Business Analyst Team, which is the team responsible for working closely with stakeholders throughout Davey to identify business needs, analyze requirements, and develop effective solutions to drive business growth and efficiency. This position coordinates projects with management, users, and vendors and serves as a project manager for project work and tasks assigned to direct reports. : The IT Business Analyst Manager is an exempt, full-time employee position. This position reports to the IT Director of Business Applications.
Job Duties
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises in accordance with policies and laws. Has authority to interview, hire, terminate, and recommend employee status changes. Oversees, plans, assigns, and directs the work of two or more employees. Manages the Business Analyst Team, appraises performance, rewards and disciplines employees, and resolves complaints.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to identify Business Process Improvements.
- Lead and support the business analysis team, offering guidance and mentorship.
- Review team performance and recommend advancements or reassignments to senior management.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment between business needs and IT solutions.
- Evaluate business processes, suggest improvements, and track project progress.
- Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the IT department, supporting team growth.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in IT management and governance.
- Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications:
- Required: A bachelor’s degree is desired. A combination of technical experience in a similar position and industry certification(s) that demonstrates a minimum level of subject matter expertise could be used in lieu of a college degree.
- Required: A minimum of five years of experience in the areas of technology this position will be supporting.
- Required: Proven experience as a Business Analyst Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Required: Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Required: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Required: Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
- Required: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Required: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
