Summary:  Davey is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Licensing Concierge.  This position is based in Kent, Ohio with the Davey Institute, which is responsible for research and development, environmental programs, technical support, and education and training for all North American operations.  The Licensing Concierge assists with the state product registrations, product reporting, pesticide licensing entity, and applicator licensing processes based on schedules, policies, protocols and procedures, licensing requirements, and best practice standards.  The Licensing Concierge ensures projects and services can be performed under the correct and up-to-date licensing protocols.

Job Duties

Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:  The Licensing Concierge position includes the following duties, functions, and responsibilities:

  • Assist in general regulatory administration functions.
  • Maintain various databases and spreadsheets.
  • Complete necessary tasks related license and registration applications, renewals, and removals, including, but not limited to filling out applications, check requests, written and email correspondence and maintaining files.
  • Assist in the implementation of a pesticide concierge service for employees.
  • Correspond with federal, state, and local agencies to obtain information necessary to complete duties.

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite programs.
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems quickly.
  • Write, type, file, and organize.

  • Observe and respond to instructions, messages, and other oral communication.
  • Adjust quickly and efficiently from task to task with little to no effort.
  • Communicate clearly in a professional and understandable manner.
  • Bend, reach, hold, grasp, sort, and organize.
  • Perform in the presence of distractions or work frustrations
  • Regular and timely attendance.
