Parts Manager-Assistant | Kent, Ohio

Position Overview

Job Duties

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Receive Stock Shipments and verify the accuracy of the order.
• Maintain shipping and receiving records.
• Place parts in assigned Bin Locations upon arrival. 
• Set up part numbers as needed in SAP.
• Generate PO's and order parts according to company demand.
• Communicate with external and internal customers regarding any delays in part orders.
• Maintain current inventory.
• Pay attention to fast selling parts in correspondence to busy season to better forecast ordering needs.
• Navigate parts website to view parts illustrations.
• Identify and recognize part numbers.
• Notify Human Resources when new chemicals are purchased for safety data sheet retrieval. 
• Assist with maintaining and updating parts information. 

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid drivers license with a company acceptable driving record.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts both internally and externally.
• Must maintain a professional appearance.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogues. 

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years parts experience.
