Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Strategic Campaigns, is responsible for overseeing and coordinating communication efforts that align with Davey's strategic objectives. This role involves developing, executing, and measuring communication strategies that support the organization's overall business strategy.
The Senior Manager, Strategic Campaigns, is an exempt position.
This position does not have immediate supervisory responsibilities, but will include leading project teams.
Job Duties
- Create and implement comprehensive communication plans to promote the organization's goals, values, and mission. This may include a service line or business unit.
- Create content to communicate with various stakeholders (employees, clients, partners) to ensure they are informed about Davey's goals, challenges, and successes.
- Develop communication strategies that foster collaboration. This might involve creating newsletters, posts, internal memos, and other forms of communication to keep employees informed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, and make adjustments as needed. This could include analyzing media coverage, tracking social media engagement, and assessing employee feedback.
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure that communication strategies align with business objectives and corporate vision.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules
Competencies
- Strong Writing and Verbal Communication: Ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive messages across different media.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand long-term organizational goals and create communication strategies that support those goals.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead communication teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Digital Literacy: Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
Qualifications
- Required: A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Required: 7-10 years of experience in public relations, communications, or marketing.
Experience within the green industry is a plus.
