Position Overview
The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a part-time Video Production Marketing Intern with a strong background in post-production to assist with the creation of video content that promotes the company’s services, expertise, client successes, and brand. This role will involve working closely with marketing team members in the pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in post-production video editing, a strong eye for storytelling, and an eagerness to collaborate with marketing team members. This internship includes a flexible, hybrid work schedule. Applicant must be available to commute to Kent.
Position will start May 2024.
Job Duties
- Assist with post-production video editing
- Assist with the preparation and operation of audio/video equipment
- Create storyboards and other visual representations for video projects
- Help gather and organize digital media assets
- Assist with selecting appropriate a-roll, b-roll, tracks, and supporting elements
- Ensure adherence to both brand standards and project guidelines
- Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as: meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and attending/organizing meetings
Qualifications
- Strong background in post-production video editing
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate well with team members to help produce high-quality digital media
- Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines
- Ability to be in the office twice a week
- Creative passion for filmmaking and videography
- Scriptwriting experience is a plus
- Experience in video pre-production, production, and post-production
- Strong Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and similar video editing software
- Experience using Adobe Audition a plus
- Experience in motion graphics a plus
- Moderate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Currently pursuing a degree in video production or similar, and demonstrate relevant skills and an eagerness to learn
- It is preferred that the candidate has their own computer that is capable of efficiently running relevant programs
