Position Overview
We provide utilities, rail and road transport with safe and efficient right of way clearance services. Clients rely on us for timely resource mobilization during severe weather events and proactive planning services, such as system hardening and storm restorations.
The Account Manager is responsible for managing the coordination, execution, and completion of service and current projects. The ideal candidate must be an effective communicator and ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Job Duties
- Create customized quotations and develop unique solutions for customer inquiries
- Identify, develop, and nurture business growth to increase market share in new and/or existing markets
- Interface with field operations to ensure timely and accurate communication to our customers
- Handle customer complaint investigations determining root cause and recommendations
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned segments of business
- Managing business to business sales relationships.
- Developing detailed proposals
- Building trusting relationships.
- Regular follow-up on quotes and tenders
- Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs
- Attending pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in the UVM industry with a proven track record of success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Experienced using computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Teams)
