We are seeking a Safety Professional to provide a range of expertise and solutions across a variety of projects and settings.

What you’ll do:

• Work in consultation with internal teams and utility clients to increase organizational and operational safety by recommending action items and prescribing solutions grounded in industry best management practices.

• Represent DRG as a safety professional, responding to client feedback around safety.  Bring safety into DRG’s existing and new circles of influence.

• Lead and develop a team of safety professionals.

• Interpret and develop work specifications and contracts.

• Write Proposals and general correspondence.

• Track Activities and report development results.

• Coordinate communications between clients and production team.

• Inward and outward facing presentations and public speaking regarding DRG’s safety improvement work.

• Assist with Recruiting and Candidate screening and startup. Work closely with management to develop relationships inside and outside of DRG.

• Work in a team goal oriented environment focused on team success.
What you’ll need:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial and/or Occupational Safety or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience within the utility or energy industry.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to travel as needed.

• Ability to work independently and under remote supervision.

• Utility Vegetation Management experience is highly desirable. Able to understand new VM technology and effectively communicate new ideas for utility program enhancements.

• Self driving desire to improve processes and procedures for client and company goals.
