Project Manager | Professional Engineer | Utility Asset Management

Position Overview

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Professional Engineer to our passionate team of Civil Engineering in our Make Ready Engineering segment of Utility Asset Management.  Responsible for the design of power distribution and telecommunication design and various utility projects.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Identify potential clients in the electric utilities market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and utility asset needs

• Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships

• Partner with operations teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients

• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to all stakeholders

• Collaborate with business developers and operational teams to ensure contracted deliverables and specifications are executed on-time and agreed

• Provide subject matter expertise on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news and technologies

Qualifications

What We’re Seeking: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Chrome and industry-specific analysis software

• Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job

• Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose electric utility solutions for clients

• Travel throughout the United States is required for this position
