We are currently looking to add a dynamic environmental technician to our passionate team of landscape professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!
Job Duties
- Cultivate your green career with us!
- Learn the safe and proper way to work outdoors
- Participate in landscape construction, stormwater maintenance, and landscape restoration projects
- Maintain open communication with management, suppliers and crew members
- Learn to read and interpret construction plans and maintain accurate records
- Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment
Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books
- Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and skills related to landscaping in the Midwest region
- Experience in landscape construction, restoration, plant identification or related fields (preferred)
- Ability to operate various landscape equipment
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height
