Job Duties
The ideal candidate will provide our clients from public, non-profit, and private sectors including government, utility, commercial, with the services and solutions needed to efficiently and effectively manage natural resources, comply with policies and obtain regulatory permits. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Delineate wetlands and related aquatic resources.
- Prepare maps and forms for required approvals and permits.
- Support ecological restoration projects
- Other related field/office support for natural resource projects.
Qualifications
Education and Qualifications:
An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Four year degree in Biology, Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, Forestry, Hydrology, Soil Science, Zoology or related discipline or equivalent experience in a similar position.
- Driver’s license and clean driving record are required, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required by project.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Natural resource consulting experience.
- Wetlands delineation experience.
- GIS Mapping experience.
- Ecological restoration and monitoring experience.
- Ecological restoration plan design.
- Interest in professional development and working towards certifications.
- Flexibility to travel for short periods of time or longer durations during winter.
