Compensation Data

$70,000- $80,000 annually *negotiable upon credentials

Job Duties

The Senior Associate Consultant provides technical solutions, prescriptions, and recommendations that comply with the rules and regulations governing their particular industry and geography. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspect a wide range of habitats and infrastructure, and assess their condition, health and functionality according to client specifications.
  • Understand and apply, per client specifications, applicable regulations and compliance standards.
  • Write proposals and develop bids.
  • Attend and represent the company at conferences, trade shows, symposiums and other industry functions and communicate industry and market intelligence within the company.
  • Be an industry leader and promote the expertise of the company by performing a range of activities including giving presentations and working on industry related boards and committees.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:  

An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Professional Wetland Scientist Certification: To qualify, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 5 years of full-time professional experience in relevant fields such as consulting, industry, non-profit, public, or academic sectors.
  • SCAWWA: Certification Perferred
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. (travel costs to be paid by the company).
  • Two to four year degree in related discipline or equivalent experience in similar position.
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with basic office applications.
  • Proficiency with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) and other professional consulting applications is preferred.
  • Obtain and maintain required professional certifications and licenses commensurate with industry and position requirements.
