This is a seasonal, full time position with an estimated duration of May through September

Job Duties

The Vegetation Management Technician will provide our government, commercial, utility and not-for-profit clients with the services and solutions needed to efficiently and effectively manage unwanted, nuisance, and/or invasive vegetation. Travel projects are typically located in Massachusetts, but possible travel throughout the Northeast United States. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating Commercial Mowers

  • Operating String Trimmers 

  • Identifying native and invasive vegetation 

  • Working independently and with attention to detail.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:  

An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Experience in the following fields a plus: Plant Health Care, Landscaping, Weed Science

  • Experience operating commercial mowers and string trimmers is highly desired

  • Current Driver’s License and Driving Record in good standing.

  • Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's License and/or additional states licenses are a plus
